Trainers wanted for Disability Mainstreaming

NCPWD is looking for qualified trainers to deliver Disability Mainstreaming training to public and private organisations. A training of trainers course will be provided by NCPWD for successful candidates who will then deliver workshops during the year as is required by NCPWD. At the current time we are looking for trainers in the Mombasa area only. Kindly only apply if you fully meet the listed criteria.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Baseline Survey – Employment of Persons with Disabilities in the Public Service

The National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) is a Semi-Autonomous Government Agency set up to promote the rights of Persons with Disabilities in Kenya and Mainstream Disability issues into all aspects of National Development.
The Council seeks for an experienced consultant to undertake a baseline survey on the Employment of Persons with Disabilities in the public service, so as to establish to what extent the Public Service is implementing the requirements of the reservation of 5% of all casual, emergency and contractual positions in employment in the Public and Private sectors for Persons with Disabilities. Call to all Government Ministries to submit data- Employment of Persons with Disabilities

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development, in collaboration with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities is in the process of gathering data on the employment of persons with disabilities in the civil service.
