The Council formalised a Memorandum of Understanding with the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA). The MOU, signed by Executive Director Harun Hassan and CA Director General Ezra Chiloba seeks to engage persons with disabilities in a 2-year project on measuring the efficiency of Kenya’s mail delivery service.
Executive Director Harun Hassan stated that the MOU presented an opportunity to chart more areas of collaboration between the two institutions.
Mr. Chiloba expressed CA’s commitment to enhance accessibility to digital services for persons with disabilities and promote their contribution and participation within the ICT regulatory space.
The two organizations will also pursue partnering in technical information-sharing on the new registration system of persons with disabilities, the Council’s career portal and enhancing digital skills for persons with disabilities.
