Celebrating Cerebral Palsy

October 6th every year is Cerebral Palsy day this year the Council and other stakeholders are celebrating this day with the aim of bringing together persons with cerebral palsy, their caregivers, supporters and organisations from different communities, in the spirit of ensuring a future in which children and adults with cerebral palsy have the same rights, access and opportunities as anyone else in the society.

We cannot afford to leave any part of the population out of the equation. Government through the Council is ensuring Persons with Autism & Related Developmental Disabilities which includes Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy & Intellectual Disabilities are supported to fulfill their intellectual and creative potential so as to be par with everyone else in society, so we can all work together to end poverty, protect everyone rights and ensure that by 2030 all people everywhere enjoy an all inclusive Country.
