Flagging off Sunscreen Lotion to Person with Albinism.

This program aims at mitigating the harmful sun rays (UVB and UVA) by providing free sunscreen lotion to all persons with albinism through different government health facilities. Currently the program is providing sunscreen lotions to over 3,800 persons with albinism. Since the inception of the program, the Council has reach approximately 4000 persons with albinism every year across the country. Each person with albinism is entitled to atleast one bottle of sunscreen lotion every month depending on the usage.

The National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWDS) in parternership with KEMSA on 9th March 2021 flagged off Sunscreen Lotion to Person with albinism at the KEMSA Warehouses in Embakasi, Nairobi.
